"Real deal" down and dirty amplified harmonica in an R&B style. All 16 samples are a full 8 measures long, recorded at 130 bpm and performed in minor keys for A, E, G and D. Files are clearly labeled "rhythm" or "solo" and are fully-Acidized .wav files.

More "real deal" down and dirty amplified harmonica. Twelve fully-Acidized .wav loops recorded at 130 bpm. Each loop is a full 8 measures long - lots of great rhythm tracks to use as they are or edit and create your own.
You get loops in the keys of A, B, C, D, E and G with each key having two loops. Those marked "Rhythm1" in the title were recorded with a straight-ahead 4/4 feel suitable for rock, pop and dance productions. Those marked "Rhythm2" are played with a backbeat swing which makes them sit well with shuffles, jazz or honkytonk country.
Use this set in conjunction with the rest of the Bent Reeds series to own the most comprehensive harmonica set in the world.
Recorded by an Austin, Texas session player using a 1959 EV microphone into a tube amp captured with a Shure 57, this set has the grit and glory you'd expect from "the real deal."

The Man of the House vocal sample sets are primarily intended for use in dance music production and were recorded at 140 bpm, a perfect tempo for house, techno and other dance music styles. These 16 bit .wav files were Acidized as one shot samples and all which contain singing are set in the key of C.
One thing which sets the Man of the House series apart from other vocal sample sets is that we have put the series together with the songwriter/producer in mind. The Man of the House packages all contain sets of phrases performed in different styles and at different volumes. This provides the individual user the freedom to match a particular phrase with the appropriate volume or interpretation. The samples are all titled with the words being spoken or sung in it with different versions of the same phrase being numbered accordingly.
There are 29 vocal samples in each set. They feature a full-throated male vocal style reminiscent of such classic soul/R&B singers as Ray Charles, Joe Cocker, Otis Redding and David Ruffin.
The third set in this series also contains some of the wordless vocalizations that are some of the most effective tools in a soul singer's tool kit.
